The Rising Tide showcased works of more than forty artists at one place, focussing on how contemporary artists’ practices and day to day city life activates, secures and continues to communicate concepts of identity and dislocation. My work talked about identity in relation to the language ‘Pashto’. My anxiety due to lack of familiarity with the language of my ancestors, directed me on an honorable mission for this lost treasure, collecting, learning and securing the precious knowledge in a Kaida.(Qaida)
